Help us rebuild an enclosure

Many enclosures need major repairs — the floor has to be replaced, the roof and walls need new covering. This is the kind of work we cannot cover from daily donations.

If your organisation can cover the reconstruction of one or several enclosures, that would be a huge help. We will place a plaque on the enclosure with the name of the company that paid for its reconstruction or construction.

What you can bring

Everything is needed constantly — for 450 dogs supplies run out fast.

Food

Dry food for adult dogs and puppies — premium quality if possible (for example 4 Lapy); economy food unfortunately harms the dogs’ health
Wet food, canned food
Cereals: rice, buckwheat, oats
Meat and trimmings, offal — please no bones

Medicines and care

Anti-parasite tablets: NexGard, Simparica, Bravecto
Antiseptics, bandages, syringes
Vitamins and supplements
Shampoos, clippers, brushes

For the enclosures

Blankets, mattresses, bedding, towels
Straw and sawdust for winter
Bowls, leads, collars, harnesses
Detergents, bin bags, gloves

Help with your hands

Volunteers are what the shelter lacks most. Even a couple of hours a month change a dog’s life.

Walking

Come and walk the dogs — they wait for it all week.

Weekends from 13:00 — all dogs back at the shelter by 17:00

Socialisation

Spend time with shy dogs so they learn to trust people again.

Cleaning

Cleaning the enclosures, washing bowls, tidying the territory.

Repairs

Enclosures, fences and booths — there is always something to fix or rebuild.

Rehoming help

Photos, videos, posts and sharing — this is how dogs find families.

Temporary home

Take a puppy or a dog after surgery home for a few weeks.
